Ponti Della Mille Miglia

...or the bridge of the Mille Miglia.

7am start with views over vineyards, sadly no mist but crisp early light ensured some great pictures. We were also lucky to get some grasshoppers and a range of butterflys. Went onto St Quirico for a late breakfast, where there was a May-day festival, complete with marching band. I took a walk round the back streets, and managed to find this wonderful curve in the road, known as the Ponti Della Mille Miglia, named after the famous car race, and had the names of various teams painted on the outside wall. Tried it as a regular shot, but the infra red really lifted it.
