Tuesday: Hotel Bar

At the risk of a huge howl of derision, we are still in the UK, albeit in London.  And, to be fair, we have started our journey and are travelling onwards tomorrow.

We ran a few final errands this morning and then it was time to head to the airport. We have six pieces of luggage, plus hand luggage, so you can imagine what a joy it has been to cart around.  We arrived at terminal 5 and K was particularly impressed when I insisted that our airport hotel was at terminal 3, only to get there and find it was terminal 2………still, we made it and are looking forward to a good night’s sleep.
