Stiperstones Ridge

A couple of days ago, StevenG recommended we visited Stiperstones Ridge. We'd just bought a walk book, which featured just that walk. Although the first half was through fields and woodland, eventually we got onto the ridge, and the rain just about stayed off until we got back to the car, though it was threatening all the time.

In the afternoon we visited Stokesay castle, A fascinating building. The room above the great hall was amazing - really bright, with lots of glass (vary rare and expensive in its day).
