Remembrance

Today I wanted to go to Town to find a new curtain & pop into Iceland.
Just before leaving home I decided to pop up to the Town Hall to sign the Book of Remembrance for Queen Elizabeth.
Once parked I walked up to the Town Hall where a family was looking at all the flowers etc left by well wishers.
I walked into the Town Hall & was sent to where the Book of Remembrance was, I sat down & began to write, thought I'd finished & sat down again to write more.
As I walked out someone was waiting patiently I said "Thankyou" & tears came to my eyes, suddenly feeling emotional.
I then walked to where all the flowers had been laid & this written on the label of a bunch of Roses caught my eye.
Rest in Peace Queen Elizabeth.
You will be missed.
