Cooler Waters

After work, D and I had a quick blast on the bikes. I had a dip in the river at Whale - it’s a lot cooler now. Then back to the work drawing board at home.

Later L and I watched the Queen’s body being brought out of St Giles Cathedral. It was quite moving hearing the piper and seeing the young pallbearers.

L has an un-morbid fascination with death. There was much discussion about what would happen to the body. The signs for “dog”, “shop” and “died” are very similar, so the conversation can get a little confusing.

As we are on the flight path, we stood in the garden for a while to see if we could see the plane going over.
