‘Shrooms

I am nervous about picking and eating wild mushrooms but first thing this morning i spotted my neighbour, the matriarch of the farming family out with a basket picking in the field.  She assured me those in the field and on my lawn were field mushrooms and we ticked off the indicators.  I fried them for lunch and had them on toast - absolutely delicious and I’’m still alive. 

Had a badish back from gardening but a couple of walks today really eased it and i felt better as the day went on. Quite an intense work day for various reasons but walked Woody in the early evening and managed to shake it off.   Particularly as in the course of the day I got a call from an Australian producer I’m collaborating with standing down a meeting I’d been worried about us pulling off.  Said actor was not coming over this week after all as she was now coming for the Queen’s funeral and wouldn’t be doing any meetings.  ‘Who asked her?’ I thought.
