All the In-Laws

My daughter's new in-laws came to dinner here yesterday, and today we went to theirs. Like their son, they are GOOD cooks: pasta putanesca, crusty bread and salad with dressing, followed by strawberries and thick cream. And, of course, good red wine.

We then took a mattress and all the wedding presents to the granny flat a friend from church is lending them until their house comes through. It is just perfect. Us two new mother-in-laws made up the bed for them and put champagne in the fridge.

Feels like we have gained family - feels very good.
