A garden egg.

Completely forgot that Monday's photo should be the view across the wild flower field! 

This box egg sits in a large border which can look a little chaotic but also very interesting. I'm rather pleased with the curves.

After finishing I went to a local village to look at a topiary peacock which the gardener who created it can no longer look after, he rather nicely suggested I might be able to take it on and, as a one off annual job, I think I can. 

Topiary animals and birds are not really to my taste but the owners told me he's worked on it for years and it started from a Yew stump so that has to be applauded.
