Royal Kirk

In blustery Edinburgh today for a walking tour with a lovely couple living in North Carolina originally from Trinidad & Dominica. We kept stepping inside Museums & art galleries to warm up! As I say it was a cold wind for 1st May!! It helped tremendously when walking on the sunny side of the street feeling the warmth if the sun!

This is the Canongate Kirk, if you've not stepped inside,it's a beautiful light interior, when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth worships when she's staying at Holyrood Palace, & where her granddaughter Zara Phillips married Mike Tindsley in 2011!

Church was built in 17thc, in the graveyard there are a few famous folk buried, Adam Smith the economist to name but one!

In Edinburgh again tomorrow it's all go!! A hunger or a bust!! All or nothing!! It's a great job!
