Visit to Louisbourg

Colin, Bev and I drove over to a Louisbourg Fortress which is about 1.45 minutes from home.   It was another glorious day....and we spent about 3 1/2 hours wandering around.   Had lunch in the little tavern, pea and ham soup, it was delicious!!!

Lots of very interesting stuff to see and experience.  Colin and Bev are real history buffs so they found all the information so interesting...me too, but i didn't read as much as they did!!!   All the people working there remain in character so it's as if you are chatting with a soldier from the 1700's!

Ended up in Baddeck for dinner where Terry joined us.   Another lovely day with them!
