Out of the blue...

The idea for today's blip came out of two events at lunch time today.
1. Purchased pictured scarf from Heart Foundation Charity Shop.
2. Overheard a conversation in Boots whilst waiting to be served:-
Assistant: Thats a lovely shade of nail polish- blue its my favourite colour.
Customer: Yes it's a lovely shade of Sapphire blue.
Assistant: When I got married my wedding sari was exactly that shade of blue. Everything was blue - blue car, blue decorations, blue stones in my jewellery and when we went home after the wedding the room was decorated in blue with blue curtains and blue cushions.
Customer: Oh, that all sounds lovely.
Assistant: Yes it was beautiful...
(pause to wait for romantic ending to story)

...The marriage lasted five years then he ran off with a girl from Rusholme!

Left me feeling... blue.
