Harrowing
We sowed about 4 hectares of grass with clover today, followed by a good harrowing to cover the seed. We repaired the harrow which was something which had needed doing for a long time.
Later we went down the hill to K&G's house which they were preparing for it to be fixed, done up and modernised. We ate delicious chicken cooked with wine and milk. Dodzia was resting. K had made a remarkable discovery about their plot which extends to the other side of the road! Not unusual in my experience. I discovered a few years ago that someone had 'borrowed' about 0.8 Ha of ours!
Returning home we were met by Pushkin who had somehow managed to escape. He was delighted to see us however and we were most relieved he hadn't been run over. I'll have to find out how he did it now.
I got a few good shots of a yellow wagtail but D says you will be sick of birds, so here's the tractor.
