1968 Kombi

A car show at our doorstep on 2nd St this morning was an opportunity to gawp at some wonderful machines. Among the Model T s, Chevys and Buicks, there was a fantastic array of VWs and, this being California a lot of VW camper vans. This splendid red and black one was my favourite.
Unfortunately, Elinor did not share my enjoyment, pedantically complaining that there was no "show", the cars were all stationary and the whole thing should have been labelled "car observation".
