Bookgroup and Balloons!

It was really lovely being back at Bookgroup today :) Fab to see everyone and catch up and meet a couple of new folk too, our wee group is getting HUGE! We totally dominate Looking Glass Books now. Although with all the excited chatter and cackling that goes on it's fair to say we pretty much did that already!
This month's book was Cathedral by Raymond Carver who has long been a favourite of mine and I really enjoyed rereading it. The general consensus was that everyone loved it - particularly the title story - and it provoked lots of discussion which is great.
Plus, MsInk turned up with these amazing balloons for Smu and I!!! So cool. And divided out based on hair colour ;) I did look slightly odd wandering round town with them afterwards... Kept getting in the way of folk when I was in M+S so I cut the shopping short, tied them to my bag and let them float along behind me as I bounced my way home. Much better!
