Addington Hills: Imferno
More fiery in large
Im and I went (back) to Addington Hills for a walk in the woods. We took in the sights from the viewing platform, and were shocked to see the bare scorched scar caused by one of the August fires... We had an explore (amongst the fresh ferns), finding lots of glass bottles as well as lighters and a barbecue, so quite a lot of possible causes for that particular conflagration.
After Addington Hills, we crossed the main road to visit the Coombe Wood gardens which were appealing and which'll no doubt feature here another time.
I went out with the macro lens mounted, hoping for a mushroom blip, but ended up with quite a varied set of shots (including fungi).
Today's varied set is here (or right from Fungus)
