Normandy Day 3

Another beautiful warm sunny day! Quick supermarket shop as it’s closed in the afternoon and some are closed on Monday. Our destination was Calvaire des Dunes. Sand dunes galore leading to a huge flat beach where we could just see our homeland of Guernsey plus Alderney and Jersey. We had a long walk in the sea at the waters edge across the beach and it was glorious. Picnic lunch at 3pm, then a drive through some beautiful places back to the campsite. I am really amazed at how beautiful Normandy is and also how green everything is! Moving to another site tomorrow.
