Another hotel room view

My careful examination of places offered and insistence on talking by phone to owners/managers rather than booking through agents eg Booking.com etc has paid off again!

Lovely Chambres d’Hôte very near motorway. Great room and well furnished in very tasteful way throughout the whole house. Huge grounds. Lovely people. And so much cheaper than most . Evening meal had to be booked 24 hours in advance so had to go into St Jean d’Angély which is a very interesting town. Good Thai meal.

Would love to come back and spend more time. But that’s the trouble with France!
