Windsor .....

Myself and the girls, along with Little B, drove the half hour to Windsor this morning.  Having trawled through the traffic for an hour we eventually gave up and headed back to the official parking .... which was about a 45 minute walk away from the Castle.  Having Lucy on her scooter, a camera bag and the dog was not ideal .... and then the sun came out and we were all boiling hot!  We walked The Long Walk down to the castle and saw the tributes, took a few pics and walked back again.  There were about 6 of these guys arrived together and wanted to place a wreath of poppies.  I realised that they were trying to do something all together and that it was important to them and so managed to get myself and Lucy as much out of the way as I could.  They made their presentation and left.  Think they are ex army .  Anyway, we were exhausted by the time we arrived home.  A couple of hours later I met up with my bestie Suzie for a quick drink before coming home to a quiet evening.
