Snack time

We had a gorgeous phonecall. She was full of it. She was chattering about her new ballet class and the show dances. She was telling me about the lower school production and how she wants to audition and dance in it too. She was talking about the house drama competition. She battered on about the fact the prep boarding house have asked to be entered in their own right - to be told that they have so much talent they stand a chance of placing. She was talking about her timetable and her ensembles and lessons. She was delighted about lovely things her drama, clarinet and swim teachers have said.

And while she chattered, she picked an apple from the house garden and scoffed it
