Strangford Bay Alpacas......

......at the Old Court Wedding venue ...... take note Frenchtoast!! 
There were 5 Sloanehill Ladies off to Strangford for an alpaca walk, in the rain! We were able to feed the alpacas before we set off for a walk around the site and down to the Lough shore. We saw the Wedding Chapel, and were able to go in (without our 4 legged friends), and the alpacas enjoyed a paddle near the boathouse.  I am always reminded of Frenchtoast and Son of Lionel when we are in Strangford, and today especially so being at the wedding venue where we met for a coffee before the wedding.  
After our walk we had planned on having fish and chips from a local chip shop,  but it was raining,  so Katie, who led our walk,  said we could use the barn for our meal. So Barbara and Natalie went for the chips while the rest of us set up the picnic table. Barbara was well organised,  she had a table and some chairs,  real cutlery, glasses and bucks fizz!! We had a fabulous time....and to finish off, we stopped for ice cream on the way home.
