Pretty trumps cliché

Was out taking photos of York tonight. I took photos of a lot of the classic tourist things, this being one of the most famous - The Shambles. Anyone who's been to York has doubtless visited; according to one website it's the most visited street in Europe - I find that a little bit hard to believe ... and how the hell do they know! Just in case you haven't visited and are remotely interested it's an old street (no surprises there), the buildings lean right in together with the roofs almost touching at some points - they were into that kind of thing back then. Oh and it was a street full of butchers. Wiki will gladly expand... I ain't no tour guide.


I had originally been avoiding the whole 'classic tourist picture' thing for blip but this was too pretty to resist. Pretty trumps cliché, if you ask me:)

Edit: Now i've had a chance to have a play and I'm thinking maybe creepy trumps pretty oh well, had a creepy one yesterday, so I'll stick for now.
