Borage

It was such a glorious day today.Maybe a last hurrah for summer but the light was just perfect.

I spent the morning pruning and generally thinning out my 15ft buddleia. I have been meaning to do it all summer but couldnt bear to deprive the butterflies of their food. There was one tiny bloom still on it so I decide to get rid. Lo and behold, as the flower was lying in the ground, a 
butterfly came and landed on it!
In the clearing underneath it I found this borage with its delicate flowers.

In the evening we went to the Blackstairs Blues Festival and saw several bands including the amazing Austin Walkin' Cane. Will be downloading all his stuff now.
