Five Capes
I walked around Skennars Head this morning, a couple of km south of us. Five headlands are featured in today's blip: first on the left is the lower slope of Skennars, then Rocky Point with its large rock platform shaped like a crocodile heading out to sea with a rock fisherman balanced precariously on its snout, Lennox Head is in the left middle distance, Broken Head further away is low and inconspicuous, and Cape Byron is in the far distance.
In the foreground, on the cliff edge, is a clump of flowering Golden Paper Daisies, possibly Xerochrysum bracteatum. A close-up is in the extra.
