Water of Leith

Today we needed to make a day trip to Edinburgh to collect #2 Daughter from work to bring her down home for a First Aid course.

We set off early so that we could get to Livingston in time to meet blipper, AnnieBench, for lunch. We had a lot of trouble getting there as we came off the M74 to avoid road works but our SatNav was playing up and taking us on a wild goose chase. Sorry, no photos of wild geese, just this display of fish which are found in the Water of Leith.

I hadn't seen Annie since we met at Dobbies in 2018 and a lot had happened since for us to talk about. So glad she was free to meet up.

Kat made us coffee at the visiors' centre while she finished off her work.
