"Time for a walk"

Dad is a creature of habit, his routine has been messed up initially with his surgery and then recently with mine. His body clock has changed, he has always been an early riser and up and downstairs, showered and shaved by 7 every morning. Same breakfast porridge, then sit and read the paper til 10 when he set off for his two hour walk around the town. In recent months that routine has gone a little crazy. Today dad was his old self, up early all ready for off by 10, out on a walk then back for dinner just like the old days. This afternoon Pete came down and mowed the lawn, dad did a bit of weeding and we all laughed a lot. All in all a good day, mum just snoozed and smiled at dad when he passed her bed. Happy Days :-)
