Muddy River Cormorants. Leitz Elmar 135mm

Some time to be out today, and parked on a bench by the Muddy River, part of Boston's Emerald Necklace.  The Necklace is a series of parks and waterways situated in both Boston and Brookline, designed by famed landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted.  He is perhaps best known for his design of New York's Central Park.
It was only while editing the final image that I noticed the two snapping turtles sunning themselves.  Note to self: If one is expecting to do any kind of nature photography, take a really big tele lens along...
