Celebrations

My lovely Mr HB is 80 on Monday and celebrations started today with a meet up with most of his family, two sons, two daughters, and most of the grandchildren.  1 missing as he is about to start his duties as sound and lighting director for the band OMD on their next tour in Canada.  A lovely afternoon spent in a venue in Coventry,  great lunch and a fabulous Birthday Cake baked by my #1 daughter  followed by coffee, chocs and lots of catch ups in the pub garden in the welcome sunshine. Long travels home for all to Essex, Hampshire, Just into Wales and us in Shropshire.  Luckily we had the shortest journey home of just over an hour, whilst all the others had at least a couple of hours, or more.

At 10pm I'm glad to say they're all safely home now and Mr HB has thoroughly enjoyed the day.
