an apple

I don’t know what kind of apple this is but the tree is over 100 years old. A few years ago it was blown down in a high wind (narrowly missing the greenhouse) just leaving about 20% of it still standing. The following year it started producing apples again and it’s still going. The apples are delicious - sweet and crunchy eaters. It has about 50 on it this year. Not done much today apart from taking Nelly and Ziggy for a woodland walk and picking a big bowlful of tomatoes, and watching the royal stuff on the telly.
