Treekeeper At Work

My son was working on a cedar tree in the neighborhood today, so I got to hang out and take some action photos. I've tried this many times, always working against the height, the light, and the branches that are inevitably in front of his face. They removed a lot of limbs that were hanging over a house, and generally prepared the giant tree for winter storms. (We all have our fingers crossed, hoping for rain.) I love to watch the crew direct a branch to a perfect landing, missing the ornamentals, the shed, and the stained glass windows.
