Blipping while the house is quiet, last night I settled down for a little me time with Blip only to be called upon to deal with laundry, homework, presents and wardrobe issues - all of which had to be dealt with immediately!
Today was the fourth day of waiting on a parcel being picked up, could have a major rant about Argos customer services but life is too short and they are far too rude and inefficient for me to frankly, give a damn!
Today is exactly 3 months since I started to feel ill and as everyone seems to know someone with a similar, horrible virus and have said it last 3 months I really expected to wake today feeling like my old self, full of energy and no coughing. No miracle recovery and although I have been feeling a lot better over the last week I'm beginning to seriously worry that this is as good as it gets and that I'm just getting old! The sun was shining again today and after yesterdays marathon washing and ironing because I was stuck in I decided to turn my attention to preparing myself for my hols - exactly one month today we're off to the sun on a fabulous holiday with family and a wedding thrown in! I popped on the pilates DVD I got out of the library weeks ago and did a few stretches - well that back fired because after all that exercise to reduce the muffin top the only thing that was going to cure the weak, faint feeling was a large cream cake! No cream cakes to hand so had to make do with crips, a biscuit or two and a wee lie down!
