8th September. The day our dear Queen died.

The news broke at lunchtime that her doctors were concerned with her health and knowing that her family were heading up to Balmoral, it was a case of waiting for the dreaded news that she had died. I felt quite emotional about it all.

The extra was sent by our Head that made me well up too.
