a lifetime burning

Sorting out the diary

Scraps of an overheard avian conversation:

"... so we're all agreed, we are meeting up again next Wednesday at 3pm to see if we still need to repeat that whole Birnam Forest getting to Dunsinane thing?  Oh yes, and next time, can we sort out somewhere to meet without this blimmin' updraft - its doing all sorts of damage to my feather under-layers."

The extra is a shot of a Hobby hawk in flight.  It was some distance away and didn't get closer so its quite a significant crop and only really included as its the best shot I've managed of one of these so far.  It is a smaller bird than the Peregrine and, when it is moving at speed it can look a bit like a swift with its scythe like wings.
