Forest art

My new neighbourhood is called The Heights.
There is lots to do here & everyone is so very friendly.
I tried out a new walk today at a park called West 11th street park. This is part park & part woodland.
Whilst walking I spotted about 10 sculptures made from bits & bobs from the park. I wonder who did them, it made for an interesting walk.
I believe this park exists because it was going to be developed into apartments. The Heights residents didn't want to lose this area of natural beauty so they all chipped in & bought it.
How's that for community spirit!
