Racing

The Tour Auto is an annual event held in France.
Something over 200 cars compete in various categories. The competition, which takes 5 days, involves racing at 4 different circuits in France plus 10 special stages on closed roads. The winner has the shortest aggregate time for the racing and for the special stages.
The competition is only open to Classic Cars which meet stringent criteria, drivers are either professionals or amateurs.
Why am I telling you all this?
Well, my son and his co-driver just won their class in the event and had the second fastest overall time, which was actually the fastest amateur drivers time, in doing this he beat two well known ex F1 drivers.
We are all very pleased!
