Rainy Day

There is a saying that rainy days should be spent at home with a cup of tea and a good book (latest book group offering) and that’s pretty much what I did today after waking up with a stinking cold this morning.
I also watched the BBC News special in the afternoon, only to hear the sad news of the Queen’s death from son no 3 at teatime.
I suspect that there will be wall-to-wall coverage over the next few weeks.
