Forest of Dean
A busy day. First to Perrygrove Railway - a brilliant place for children with a miniature railway like the one on Mull I grew up with. Next to Chepstow for a great pub lunch and torrential rain and thunder. Next to beautiful Tintern and finally a walk to the Devil’s Pulpit for a beautiful view of the river and abbey. We came back to the cottage for the evening to the news of the Queen passing away, S was fascinated watching the news with us and seemed to realise the sadness. This evening Cannon suffering in bed as he usually does when we aren’t at home, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what he reacts so badly to but generally seems to be anything remotely fried.
