       I took my walk today with camera (obviously) . . . regular routine; then the news that the Queen's doctors issued a statement of concern . . . then the family gathering at Balmoral  . . . then I happened to be in the car listening to BBC World News when . . .

       I was tempted to just blip a black image or plain white . . . I only ever saw the Queen once . . .

The Queen is dead; God save the King.
