Bee-utiful

Well he/she is a bee-utiful bee isn't he. I dashed home lunch time as I needed to get my phoneand the garden was stunning with flowers n bees n all. I tried my 50mm prime lens. A different experience to using a telephoto. To an onlooker I would have looked as if I had some strange chorea leaning forwards and backwards trying to frame the shot and focus. Not helped by the fact bees are nippy little blighters.
Well I ended up with two possible shots and liked this one. Got the depth of field a bit wrong as not all the bee in focus but chuffed I can see the bee's tongue in the flower and good detail in the legs. Shame I had t go back in to work. Could have played there for hours.
Sums up how blip has brightened my days though. A quick lunch turned into an even quicker lunch with a lovely 15 mins in a sunny garden :-)
