My afternoon appointment. Not a bad old view.

Just hopped on the train in the city & have heard the news of the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.

At school, many years ago, I literally fought in the playground as I was a declared royalist. I don’t know why or how a lady embraced on a young man that I could fight for Queen & Country.

I’m very proud to have known her as my Queen. I shall miss her.
