I make no apologies for using this image today. HRH Queen Elizabeth has passed away. A monarch of such character and stature we shall never see again.

No matter what you may think of the Royal Family or Monarchy, Queen Elizabeth devoted her entire life, literally her entire life, to undertaking the duties and responsibilities that accompanied her role as head of state and monarch. I have heard people moan about the wealth of her family but this is a woman who essentially had no life of her own for over 70 years and she has undoubtedly been responsible for a huge amount of wealth coming in to the UK.

Queen Elizabeth swore to devote her life to her people in 1947. An oath she absolutely stood by to the very end.
