Happy May Day!
No longer celebrated in this country. We have a May Day bank holiday, but that is on the first Monday in May, and not the first day of the month.

In France however the 1st of May is celebrated as Bonne Fete du Muguet.
Le muguet is Lily of the Valley, and people give their friends and loved ones bunches of this flower for good luck and the arrival of Spring..........return to happiness!
What a lovely custom.

So as I haven't any lily of the valley, here are a few shots from my garden this morning.
Warm sunshine, and it feels as if Spring is here at last!
