Remembering people in places

I like, and am always curious about,   plaques on benches.  All of them tell a story about places as well as people. 

There are two new memorial benches in Sandbank where  access to the wee nature reserve by the Holy Loch has been improved .   

This is one of them, with the initials of the couple commemorated worked into the design.  I have put the dedication in my  extra photos as well as the one from the other bench.   

Both prompted thoughts about who they were and what this place meant to them, which is exactly what they are meant to do.
