Yep, it's May 1

Right on schedule the first of the tulips have bloomed this morning. Also, to my surprise, the asparagus is a foot and a half tall. Three days ago it was still below ground. No kidding! On Sunday, my Taxman and I stood there looking at the patch, nodding in agreement that no asparagus could be seen. Every year I am shocked by the speed at which plant life grows here in the Midwest. It almost makes up for the extreme cold and snow that we put up with all winter.
