Eye of the storm

Tuesday 
Dennis working from home. I pottered around doing housework, laundry etc. Really warm at lunchtime, so sat outside for a while. Thunder and lightning and torrential downpour at 5pm. Luckily I'd just got my washing in off the line!
Front garden borders were flooded and our road turned into a river for a while. Very large hailstones at one point - looked like lumps of glass on the lawn.
