It’s a jungle out there

Shower after shower swept through the day and I took this as I sat in the sitting room enjoying the light sparkling off the water.  And the clutch of dahlias I had shaken the drops off and brought in.  

A day in the barn doing emails and chasing new team members. Bad news from one of our commissioners (sigh, the life of an indie, you have to be endlessly resilient) and a swing was delivered for Ivy 

Went to Liphook for pizza and a second visit to the new Living Room cinema, which is like a London screening room in an old car showroom.  We saw Nope which I found baffling, and boring but not frightening.  It had moments but wasn’t worth sitting out.
