I've been touched by recent horse blips - here and here for example.

After living for a while at a friend's riding stables and getting to know her horses I know that horses can inspire this feeling of peace. But I never quite got over my fear of them enough to be happy riding.

So as I've watched these horse blips I've become more aware of the horses in nearby fields. Today I stopped to make their acquaintance. I felt so rude for not thinking to take any polo mints or other treats.

This one was wearing a snazzy red jacket against the rain and wind and had such an attitude. Like a young Mick Jagger, if a horse could stand with its hand on one hip this one did. I won't forget the polos next time.
