EVENING WALK

Our evening walk was hot & oppressive, but
the view ahead made it bearable. The moon was gorgeous, too.

Good news: we did not lose power last night or today, so far. There were many public announcements, so it appears
people made an effort to conserve electricity, so the grid will not fail.

I have started digging into my ancestry again. My ethnicity was updated & I am
2% Welsh. I took a deep dive into my family tree, way back in the 1600’s & found my only Welsh ancestor,: DEBORAH PETHERTON PEDRICK (1640-1698). She married into the Hughes family & had more than a dozen children! A member of her descendants
arrived in America before the Revolutionary War.

I find this project so interesting & enlightening. Perfect for a hot day!
