A fine end to a cracking day, that saw us popping over on the ferry to Jura, and off up on the only (amazing) road up to Lussa Gin before a tour at the Botanist (part of the Bruichladdich Distillery). 

I should have mentioned, this is a couple of days gin 'retreat' organised by our guest houst, Glenegedale House, as something of an antidote to the usual whisky tours (though, of course, I'm coming home with some whisky).

And all in stunning sunshine.

For their part our hosts have been feeding us remarkably well (in quality AND volume). For our Seafood Platter things could hardly have been fresher. The scallops were dived at 8am, the lobster and crab caught at 4pm, and the langoustines at 4.30pm, while we were eating at 7....
