10 Countries Run - Day 2 - Climbing

After an early start to swap out a leaking fuel pump on a good friend’s 2.5 PI, we set off through Germany in the direction of the Alps. Some great scenery both before and as we headed into the mountains. All our group of 5 cars (from around 70 on the event) found it quite hard going, temps were up and brakes were getting a bit warm. However it is nothing unusual on these events. Highlights today included a spectacular run up Timmelsjoch in Austria/Italy. Lots of other cars were out enjoying the roads, we saw gatherings of Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche but loved the little Fiat in the extra.
