Drying ceps

The ceps are popping up all through the woodland. The recent rain will only encourage them. Nick goes out daily, bag in hand, collecting fine specimens. Then he slices them and lays them out to dry in the glass walled room in the sauna. Later, he goes back to turn them. And thus are our mushroom supplies guaranteed for the winter.

Thunder and lightning this evening. The new roof on the shed keeps the water out. The south corner of the veg store gets a bit damp, though.
